About Me
I just recently became a HAM in September of 2024. I started dabbling in GMRS, which I still enjoy for local communication (Thanks to Josh for feeding the addiction!), and that led me to HAM radio. Which my brother has been trying to get me into for years.
I started out playing with some cheap hand held radios. That led to a mobile 2 meter/70 centimeter radio. After playing with that for a while, I passed my Technician and General and picked up a Yaesu FTDX10 for my first HF radio.
I currently have that connected to a EFHW and balun which seems to do pretty well.... for now.
